Investment Philosophy:

A written investment policy statement is critical to the consulting relationship as it codifies the objectives, expectations, and investment management process of the organization and ensures that these objectives are shared and understood by the various service providers. We work hard to understand our client organizations from a business standpoint and also from a cultural view in order to fully assess the needs of the investment program. This is usually accomplished in meetings with the consultant, management, investment committee and/or the full governing board. We work with our clients to draft an investment policy that articulates asset allocation, portfolio structure, restricted investments, performance goals, review process, manager selection criteria and other policy decisions.

Modifications to an investment policy should not be frequent but our quarterly review process focuses on adherence to the policy and therefore any required modifications are discussed and reviewed in a timely fashion. If we feel a change is necessary we will work with the client to validate the modification and incorporate the changes into the investment policy.
